Canadian brand Deciem is as cult as cult can be in beauty. Celebrated by beauty editors, industry experts and all kinds of product lovers who simply value transparency, it's the "abnormal" beauty company that kick-started a shift in the way we consume skincare. Combining cutting-edge science with modest price points, the late founder Brandon Truaxe clearly realised his mission to democratise serious skincare. In just four years he launched 10 brands under the Deciem umbrella — although all but two are currently being discontinued — and when a liquid foundation was released into budget range The Ordinary it was met with a 25,000-person waiting list.

As someone who masochistically watched the 2011 movie adaptation of One Day every Valentine’s for years, I didn’t think the new Netflix limited series could hurt me. Released this month, suspenseful crime drama Boston Strangler looks set to be one of spring's must-see films, with a star-studded cast worthy of the extraordinary true tale it relates. Directed by Ridley Scott, the film stars Keira Knightley in the leading role of Loretta McLaughlin, a reporter who breaks the story of a serial killer in 1960s Boston, alongside fellow reporter Jean Cole (played by Fargo's Carrie Coon). McLaughlin and Cole are widely thought to have challenged the sexism of the era, pursuing the story at personal risk and uncovering a web of corruption that cast doubt on the murderer's identity.

So many of Princess Diana's most famous outfits are etched in our memories – one of these being the sweatshirt and cycling shorts that she was pictured wearing back in the Nineties, which has been used as a point of reference for casual style ever since.
