We may still be in the thick of winter, but Florence Pugh is already setting the tone for summery red-carpet dressing.
The Oscar-nominated actor delivered an interstellar take on the mermaidcore trend at a promotional event for upcoming film Dune: Part Two in Mexico City on Monday night. It’s no secret Pugh loves an ab-baring evening set (almost as much as she loves her sheer dresses), and yesterday’s red carpet provided the perfect opportunity for her to show out in yet another two-piece.
Harry Styles regularly surprises fans with his fashion choices. And as the musician transitions into winter, he's giving off some super-cozy vibes.
Photographed in New York City ahead of his hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, Styles opted for navy slacks, a striped shirt, and a very unexpected sweater vest. Exceedingly woolly, the novelty item was covered in a sheep-print design. Incidentally, Styles frolicked around with baby animals in a Gucci campaign back in 2018.
FendiEstrop//Getty ImagesFendi lit up the Palais Brongniart with all things Roman. Upon stepping into the venue, guests were greeted with a light display of the brand's Roman headquarters floating in the air. Once models took to the runway, Artistic Director Kim Jones showed embroidered capes, boned mini dresses and beaded gowns that had long, lean lines that went on for days, all inspired by Roman temporality, ancient and future. Most standout were the hand-painted monastic faces and statues which were applied to luxurious velvet and mink fabrics.

From the discreetly quilted white Zanotta sofa, which sits like a capacious designer handbag beneath psychedelic panels by glassblowing guru Dale Chihuly, to an ostrich-feather chandelier, suggesting a flirty garden-party hat, Heather, the American wife of South African hotel impresario Sol Kerzner, has injected their London address with her own vivacious sense of fashion.
As Oscar Wilde once famously said, “only the unimaginative can fail to find a reason for drinking champagne”. This fizzy drink has long been a go-to for the affluent, especially in times of celebration. We think of champagne as a symbol of luxury, to be enjoyed at parties and special occasions, a treat favoured by high-fliers, celebrities and royalty. Marilyn Monroe is said to have bathed in the stuff. But how did it become such a premium item?
