In 2002, Nyakio Grieco launched Nyakio, her eponymous beauty brand that includes a skincare line inspired by her Kenyan roots and family recipes, full of traditional clean, green, and natural sustainable ingredients. Just recently, she cofounded and launched Thirteen Lune, a new e-commerce platform celebrating and amplifying Black- and Brown-founded beauty brands.

For hair-wash days, Grieco recommends using Bomba Curls' Dominican Forbidden Hair Mask, which she applies to her hair and leaves on for 20 minutes after shampooing. "It gives you that silky glow," she says.
Grieco also reveals that she's a fan of full-body dry brushing, which she achieves with Gilded's Marble Body Brush. "Dry brush is an amazing way to exfoliate your skin and get to that baby-soft skin," she says. "I always say that anti-aging is not just from the neck up. We've got to take care of our skin from head to toe."
For some extra skin hydration, Grieco will also use The Established's Elixa Bath and Body Serum and Gilded's Supreme Body Balm. "For us girls that run very dry, this is my very favorite," she says.
When it comes to her face, Grieco begins by clearing her pores with Lauren Napier's Facial Cleansing Wipes. She then follows up with the Sweet Almond Cleansing Oil Balm from Nyakio. "What I love about this balm is that we use sweet almonds in it, which are packed with antioxidants in the Nyakio brand," she says. "So you're actually getting some hydration in your skin as you're also cleansing."
