Dakota Johnson continued to honor her superhero character in Sony Pictures’s Madame Web on the red carpet last night.

For the Los Angeles premiere of the new Spider-Man spin-off film, the actor showed up at the A-list event in a bejeweled take on the classic naked dress. The custom Gucci piece was composed of an interlocking web of encrusted crystals, which formed a floor-grazing gown with a plunging deep-V neckline and a low back. Underneath the revealing piece, Johnson wore nothing but a bodysuit that matched her skin tone.

To finish off the dazzling look, she and her stylist, Kate Young, opted for a pair of strappy black leather heeled sandals and a glittery diamond choker cuff necklace.

Costar Sydney Sweeney took a similar style cue at the same event, wearing a custom Oscar de la Renta dress with a sequined weblike pattern emblazoned across the fitted corset.

Johnson has been paying sartorial homage to Madame Web; at another red carpet event earlier this month, she wore the Cobweb Dress by Annie’s Ibiza. The eye-popping ensemble featured a sheer black gown and matching veiled hood, both covered in a web pattern that dripped with glittering crystals.

She had a more subdued take for the movie’s first red carpet event, in late January, where she wore a sleek black skirt suit composed of a cropped blazer and a midi-length pencil skirt from Versace’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection. At the time, she paired the set with black pointed-toe leather mules from Bottega Veneta, plus an array of diamond and gold jewelry from Jessica McCormack.
